Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing
Orders processed Monday–Friday (excluding holidays). Processing: 1‑3 days (bedside tables, bookshelves); 3‑7 days (tatami beds).

2. Shipping Destinations & Carriers
Contiguous US only. Carriers:

  • Small items (bedside tables, bookshelves): USPS, UPS, FedEx

  • Tatami beds: Freight carriers (LTL)

3. Shipping Costs & Delivery Times

  • Costs: Calculated at checkout. Free shipping on qualifying orders.

  • Times: Small items: 5‑10 days; Beds via freight: 7‑20 business days. Estimates, not guarantees.

4. Freight Delivery Process (Tatami Beds)

  • Carrier will contact you to schedule a 4‑hour delivery window.

  • Standard delivery is curbside or threshold — driver will not bring inside.

  • Inspect before driver leaves — note any visible damage on delivery receipt.

5. White Glove Delivery
Available for tatami beds at additional fee. Includes delivery to room of choice, unpacking, basic assembly, and packaging removal.

6. Packaging

  • Tatami beds: Flat‑pack boxes with corner protectors, foam padding; anti‑tip hardware included (if applicable); CARB/CPSIA labels visible.

  • Bedside tables: Boxed with protective padding; hardware and instructions included.

  • Bookshelves: Boxed with wall‑mount hardware; instruction sheet included.

7. Damage Claims

  • Visible damage: Noted on delivery receipt — contact us immediately.

  • Concealed damage: Contact us within 48 hours with photos of damage and packaging. Keep all packaging.

8. Order Changes
Cancel/modify within 24 hours. Orders shipped cannot be canceled.
